Infinitum

So, we don't know where we come from?
We are not sure where we are going to?
We are here, on mother Earth, for what's it worth.
Who cares where we came from?
Who knows where we are going?
Only the Maker knows, and it is guarded secret!

In this vast Universe, there is greater life.
There is a magnitude of galaxies.
Planets unnamed and unseen by man.
There is knowledge greater than ours
There are places more beautiful.
People more intelligent and wiser.
Creations unimaginable. . ...

Why worry about the future?
Let the Creator plot your destiny.
Maybe soon life will become crystal clear.
Maybe you to will meet GOD!

At the head of each chicken roost, is a hen.
One lady with wisdom to pick us up again.
She follows us like a shooting star.
Trying to avoid a national disaster.
As vigilant as a hawk.
Constant with her walk and talk.
She guides us through all the shoots.
On trips, sometimes pouring our toots!

She has adopted the elite, chosen few.
Referring to us as her copper crew.
She keeps our scores and wards off harm.
We see her as our lucky charm!

A Detective

Dedicated to Sonny Cox 1914 - 1980

When society is corrupted
And the social structure is defective
You need more than a cop
You need a detective
To solve all the crime
So that your loved ones
Don't live off borrowed time!

His oath was to protect and serve
According to his standards that's what you deserve
Protection from the state and the powers that be
Human rights alone cannot set you free!

I know the real feeling
I know it well
Because a top detective
Was my father and pal!
To be a true detective is not a profession
But rather a calling from GOD himself!
